As a frequent listener of the Online radio stations, i was taken aback to find all the Radio Webcasters go on a Nation Wide "Silent Day". The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger, claims the website. They have organized this strike to protest against the ruling that was passed and will be en effect form July 15, that will make the royalty rates for webcasters drastically high.
This website Savenetradio.org encourages the net radio listeners to take action and contact their Congressional representatives, and will hold a national Day Of Silence on June 26. Webcasters across the country will protest and remain silent, so there will be no internet radio on the June 26th!
