The carrier specific Nokia E62, a Symbian S60 model has been called off from the shelves. This model was developed for AT&T carrier and was available in the CA and USA regions. But now the handset has been called off.
Nokia E62 was a slightly Lite Model of the sibling E61 which is a popular model. The E62 came without WiFi and 3G support, and hence it is claimed to be a Lite model.
No further news was available at the time of this release, and as usual AT&T spokes person said, we are planning to roll out compelling and advanced models, but will not spell them out at this juncture. So there is no news on what model will replace the Nokia E62 but the company will continue to sell the Nokia N75 Symbian model.
