I have ditched it[after my great review] and forgot about Live Writer as we all intend to do if a certain software deserves such, and there is no exception to Microsoft.
Lately I bumped into their blog because I was tired with the sick interface that Blogger.com offers. it is sick and there is no doubt about it. There are wonderful interface options, and when Google can do wonders to it's "MyGoogle" interface why the blogger interface is let alone - wonder why?
Yes, the system hangs when I run my Live Writer, and there is a reason for it is, it invokes the Microsoft Update in a strange manner like all Windows Application would do, and so the F*&^% Up. Well to resolve this you need to follow some simple steps. Though they look "geeky" they do no harm, and are easy to do. Follow me here:
To do this:
2. Type “cmd” and then click “Open” (this will open a Command Prompt windows).
5. Restart your computer.
6. Start Writer and use it as you would normally.
